The Telemark University College, Norway, also known as TUC, (Høgskolen i Telemark or HiT in Norwegian) has approximately 5 500 students, and is the 4th largest, out of 24 state-owned, university colleges in Norway.

TUC has campuses in Bø, Notodden, Porsgrunn, at Rauland and in Drammen, and offers one of the broadest spectrum of academic opportunities in the country.

Telemark University College offers programmes based on research, artistic development and experience-based knowledge of the highest quality. The research activity at the university college is steadily growing and is highly prioritised at TUC.

TUC currently offer one PhD programme in Process-, Energy- and Automation Engineering, and we have applied for accreditation for PhD programmes in Culture Studies and Ecology.

Bergen University College

The Bergen University College, Norway is a state higher education institution with about 7000 students and 700 staff and faculty. It is organised in 3 faculties; Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, each offering a broad range of Bachelor and Master programmes.

They all share a commitment to excellent teaching, research and knowledge transfer through relevant study  programmes aimed at various professions: school and preschool teachers, health and social workers, engineers and economists.

We focus on sustainable relations locally as well as internationally in order to continue developing high quality study programmes and our R&D activities. Bergen University College has an extensive range of international partners for student exchange, a majority of them being Erasmus agreements.

We have increased our international student exchange activity steadily over the last 10 years, from around 190 to around 360. The Faculty of Engineering offers study programmes in most engineering disciplines: electrical engineering, civil engineering, marine and mechanical engineering as well as information technology (computing).
